Akasha, Symbolic Memory & Meaning Work
A depth-exploration intensive for clients drawn to direct inner knowing,
symbolic memory, and profound re-orientation.
Akasha - symbolic memory & meaning work is a facilitated depth-exploration session that allows clients to access an inner field of memory, meaning, and knowing through direct experience. It refers to an inner space where personal history, relational patterns, inherited narratives, and unconscious knowing can reorganise themselves when approached in a slowed, embodied, altered state of awareness. This is not about belief; it is about lived and direct experience.
Clients do not receive information from the facilitator.
They access insight from within themselves, in a way that feels simple, clear, and deeply relieving.
Many people experience this work as accessing something akin to the traditionally described Akashic Records, a sense of entering a field of deep knowing that feels timeless, ordered, and already present.
I don’t define what this is for clients; I support them in experiencing it directly and making sense of it in their own way.
How does this work differ from psychotherapy?
While grounded in psychological understanding, this work is not traditional talking therapy.
What makes it distinct:
-
The insight arises directly, rather than through analysis or interpretation
-
The material is often symbolic, imaginal, or narrative in form
-
The re-organisation of meaning tends to be rapid and embodied
-
Clients often report immediate shifts in perspective and relationships
Because the knowing comes from within, it often carries a sense of certainty that does not require further repetition.
What happens in a session?
Sessions last up to 3 hours, allowing enough time for preparation, deep exploration, and grounding.
The process typically includes:
-
Gentle preparation and grounding
-
Entry into a focused, altered state of awareness
-
Facilitated exploration of symbolic memory and inner imagery
-
Reflection and meaning-making
-
Integration into present-day life and relationships.
My role is to hold the container, support orientation and embodiment.
Why can this work be so effective?
Clients often describe the experience as:
-
Simple, yet profound
-
Deeply moving without being overwhelming
-
Clarifying
-
Personally authoritative, “I knew this was true because it came from me”
Because the insight is directly experienced, rather than intellectually understood, it often leads to swift and lasting shifts, particularly in relational patterns.
